What is a perfect kingdom? While individual leaders may think that more security or more knowledge is what drives a kingdom's success, the true master knows that balance is the key. Maximize all Aspects in this Ambition and leave your mark with a kingdom that will be remembered forever.
The main objective of Best In Show is to raise all four of the aspects to a certain level before you run out of Quests Points (QP).
Rank | Name | Objective |
---|---|---|
Platinum | As Good As It Gets | Have all Aspects at Level 12 |
Gold | Aspect Respect | Have all Aspects at Level 10 or above |
Silver | Halfway There | Have all Aspects at Level 6 or above |
Bronze | Lil' Empire That Could | Have all Aspects at Level 4 or above |
Tips & Strategy
- Quest Selection is Vital - Try to avoid Quests that give a negative to an aspect, unless you know you can just replace it later. This is absolutely vital in this one as even one point being off will drop you down to Gold. (You don't want to do all that work and come so close to failing, right?)
- Annex Advorton - This tip applies to every Kingdom Ambition in The Sims Medieval. It will give you many more QP to play with if you do this as soon as you hit 160 Renown. You'll need a Spy, Wizard, or Physician at level 5 and the Monarch to do the required quest. It will reduce the QP cost of all Quests costing 3 or 4 by 1.
- Platinum, Always. - You shouldn't ever have a problem getting Platinum on most every quest you come across. Look at the reward and if you need the extra point, take it. Work on a diverse selection of Heroes so that you will have more opportunities to do the quest types you need.
- Hero Tendencies - Physician and Merchant often get Well-Being Quests. Merchant and Bard, Culture. Knight and Blacksmith, Security. Wizards Knowledge. Some are more all over the place, like the Priests. They can fill valuable Secondary roles in Quests so don't skip them. You'll probably end up with almost all 10 heroes while pursuing this Ambition.
- Don't Waste Capacity - You don't get those Aspect points if you didn't have the capacity for them at the time. They're lost forever. So be sure to focus on Quests that will fill out your capacity. Try to build something at least after every other Quest. Even if a Quest looks tempting (like a Legendary Trait) don't bother with it if you can't afford the reward. Odds are, it'll reappear for you. Work on something else that will maximize your Kingdom's aspects gains.
