Crafting Quest Objective

The blacksmith had long harbored a dream to shape the ultimate symbol of weaponcrafting, a legendary blade unparalleled in the long history of warfare. With the discovery of an ancient weapon-master's journal by the Peteran church, the time had come to forge that dream into a reality.
The Craft of War is the only approach to the quest Cutting Edge and it costs 3 QP to start. This quest can be completed with the Blacksmith and Peteran Priest, with support from the Monarch.

Trivia

  • Superior Alloy can only be crafted while the quest Cutting Edge is active. Thus, to be able to craft any of the four swords, extra Superior Alloy must be crafted while the quest is active, while the swords themselves are craftable only after the quest has ended.
  • Divine or Tremendous Catalyst are craftable by the Blacksmith after the quest is completed. The ingredients must be in inventory to be able to make at a cooking pot.
  • any of the Prototype swords left will remain after quest (remain only in forge?verify-will they disappear from inventory?)

Bugs/Glitches

  • The Blacksmith will Equip one of the prototype swords (it may be un-equippable)
  • at the end, the 'reward' sword shows up in Blacksmiths inventory, but after the quest completes it is no longer there?! (possible result of 'prototype' sword being equipped). Work-around' is to transfer 'reward sword to another hero, really fast before the quest ends (watch for sword in inventory, pause game, transfer)
