WooHooing is a romantic interaction between two very close sims, which can result in pregnancy. It may be done for fun and a boost to focus, or for the children which result from a pregnancy.

How to WooHoo

The option to WooHoo will usually only be available when sims in a conversation find each other extremely irresistible, and will succeed only when the two sims have a high enough relationship status. The Chivalrous trait prevents sims from WooHooing with anyone who they are not officially courting.

When the WooHoo interaction succeeds, sims will find a double bed or tent in their location to WooHoo in. If the bed is inaccessible or occupied, WooHooing will be automatically canceled. Other sims in the room will leave at this time, but should new ones enter, WooHooing will be automatically canceled, too.

Pregnancy

While any two adults can WooHoo with each other, pregnancy can occur only when a male and female sim WooHoo. The start of a pregnancy is heralded by a characteristic melody. WooHooing is not guaranteed to produce a pregnancy, and the exact rate of success is currently unknown. Only female sims can get pregnant, although the male parent will share some of the child-related buffs.

Pregnancy lasts about two days. During this time the pregnant sim will have a gradually swelling belly, but the sim will walk as though heavily pregnant from the very first moments. A mother-to-be receives the "Pregnant" buff (+20 Focus) which ends with childbirth. Note that pregnant women are subject to some restrictions and problems:

  • Pregnant sims performing an activity receive the "Back Ache" debuff (-15 focus).
  • Pregnant Hero Sims can not perform dangerous, violent activities such as dueling or jumping into the Pit of Judgement.
  • For the last few hours of pregnancy, the pregnant sim will automatically go home and wait there until their child is born.
